Camp Mujuk Marines joined 1,500 local volunteers during a Kimchi-making event hosted by Pohang City. the Kimchi was donated to Local families in need. Camp Mujuk has supported this event for years as part of the community.

Camp Mujuk Marines and Command Chaplain volunteered for the fence-painting project as their Single Marine Program at a local children’s welfare facility.

Marines and Sailors aboard Camp Mujuk attended a Korean Traditional Culture Experience Event at Deokdong Village which included: tea etiquette class, having local calligraphers writing the attendees names in Korean, natural dyeing, watching traditional performances and learning a Folk song. 20190921

The ROK Ministry of Patriots & Veterans Affairs hosted the 4th commemoration event to honor the battle heroes including those from the US 1st Marine Division, great opportunity for the Marines of Camp Mujuk to learn more about the Battle, and to meet the US Battle heroes who were also invited all the way from the USA.

Camp Mujuk is the only United States Marine Corps Installation in South Korea. It is located about an hour east of Daegu, just outside Pohang, and near the eastern shoreline. The installation is currently home to the Camp Mujuk Headquarters from MCIPAC.
