Cpl. Samuel. M. Bebout, a combat engineer with Combat Engineer Company, Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, yells commands to his squad during a live-fire assault training exercise Monday. The exercise was part of Forest Light, a bilateral training exercise at Nihonbara Training Area, Japan, between U.S. Marines and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force soldiers. This exercise affords U.S. Marines and Japanese soldiers an opportunity to observe and learn from each others tactics.
