The Assistant Chief of Staff, G-3/5 advises and assists the Commanding General on the formulation and administration of policy and procedures related to current and future operations, mission assurance, live fire range and training area utilization, scheduling, and management, MCAS matters, ATC Quality Assurance, Fire and Emergency Services, formal resident PME schools, Provost Marshal and EOD. The Assistant Chief of Staff G-3/5 also serves the dual role as the Assistant Chief of Staff G-6, Marine Corps Base, Camp Smedley D. Butler.

Our mission is to provide professional security services for MCIPAC personnel and property. We will accomplish this through attention to detail, accountability and highly experienced staff. We recognize that commitment by MCIPAC Security Office is the foundation of every successful security program.

We work closely with our higher headquarters and outside agencies to understand their requirements, then design our intentions to establish and maintain the necessary level of security. We implement the MCIPAC security program with total dedication, reliable staff and vigilant monitoring. ​
