Surveying was being conducted to ensure the targets will be visible from observation posts. Antonitis is the 2nd gun platoon commander for Battery B, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force and Browning is the executive officer of Battery B. 3rd Bn., 12th Marines is conducting live-fire artillery training to maintain operational readiness of the artillery battalion in support of the U.S. – Japanese security alliance.
