Marines and sailors of 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF, board a C-17 in Manas, Kyrgyzstan, May 21, headed for Camp Leatherneck, Helmand province, Afghanistan. 5th ANGLICO began its seven-month deployment in May to provide the MAGTF commander a liaison capability to plan, coordinate, and conduct terminal control of fires in support of joint, allied and coalition forces.
