Lt. Col. Ted Adams, commander of 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, inspects gear of the Marines departing for Exercise Forest Light Feb. 10. Adams thoroughly inspects the gear to ensure that Marines have the proper and serviceable equipment for the exercise. Exercise Forest Light is an annual bilateral exercise between U.S. Forces and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
