3rd Reconnaissance Battalion Marines salute their fallen brothers after a memorial service at Camp Schwab Feb. 3. The Marines died in combat in Afghanistan last year. Sgt. Daniel D. Gurr passed on Aug. 5, 2011. Cpl. Adam J. Buyes passed on Nov. 26. 3rd Recon Bn., 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, returned from a seven-month deployment in December 2011.
