Chief Warrant Officer Rilin P. Desamours and Maj. Robert B. Thomas, right, practice a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program technique during a martial arts instructor course at Camp Kinser Oct. 23. Marines with the Martial Arts Center of Excellence, located at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., flew to Okinawa and observed the course and provided some lessons and feedback. Desamours is a tactical communications planning and engineering officer with Headquarters Company, Headquarters Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Thomas is the operations officer for Combat Logistics Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III MEF.
