Dr. Robert D. Eldridge talks about actions taken by the Americans during Operation Tomodachi at a disaster management conference May 17 at the University of the Ryukyus Hospital’s Okinawa Clinical Simulation Center in Nishihara. More than 100 people with the University of the Ryukyus, medical professionals, service members and Department of Defense employees attended a disaster management conference to plan for future disaster relief efforts.
