Senior leaders from multiple Asia-Pacific nations attend a multinational presentation of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Defence Ministers Meeting-Plus ASEAN Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief and Military Medicine Exercise hosted by Brunei June 12 at the Multinational Coordination Center in Muara, Brunei. ADMM-Plus AHMX is a multilateral exercise that provides a forum for regional partner nations to address shared security challenges, strengthen defense cooperation, enhance interoperability and promote stability in the region. Distinguished representatives of the government of Japan board an MV-22B Osprey June 5 on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. The representatives visited MCAS Futenma for a luncheon, tour and viewing of a static display of an MV-22B Osprey. The representatives came to deepen their understanding of the mission and purpose of MCAS Futenma and the Osprey. The members consisted of Ryota Takeda the chairperson of the Standing Committee on Security; Akira Sato the parliamentary vice minister of the Ministry of Defense, 13 members from the House of Representatives of Japan and 13 other Government of Japan officials. - Distinguished representatives of the government of Japan board an MV-22B Osprey June 5 on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma.
