COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Jamie and her father, 1st Lt. Victor Rizzo walk through the toy aisle of a local department store with Berkley, a Canine Assistants service dog.  The Rizzos were awarded a service dog for 7-year-old Jamie, who is socially developed at a 2-year-old level. Canine Assistants trains golden retrievers and Labrador retrievers to assist people with physical and mental disabilities.
